Here is my week of macarons. I also have a bin full of duds. I have worked out that my oven is simply a pain in the ass! 130degrees bottom element only seems to be best.
I am still struggling to get good feet – I am pretty sure now this is because I haven’t been ageing my eggs. So I finished this evening (after the beautiful strawberry batch – which have good feet) by preparing my egg whites. Let’s see how this ageing goes!
I am feeling quite sick from nibbling a few too many crumbs.
Tomorrow us definitely a day off macarons!
